Baked apples<br />

Ingredients:<br />

1 apple per person<br />

chopped dried fruit<br />

(prunes, figs, raisins, apricots, dates, ...)<br />

juice of one orange<br />

grated nuts<br />

a little butter or oil for greasing the pan<br />

Proceed as follows:<br />

Remove the stems of the apples, and cut off the cap (do not<br />

discard).<br />

Then remove the core (do not pierce).<br />

Mix the chopped dried fruit, orange juice and nuts to a<br />

creamy filling, and fill it in the hollowed apples, put the lid on<br />

top of the apples, put the apples in a pan and bake for 20 to<br />

30 minutes at 180 to 200° C.<br />
