CAVEL COOLIDGE DALTON<br />

CHRISTIANSBURG-Cavel Coolidge Dalton, 73, went to be with <strong>the</strong> Lord Monday,<br />

October 11, <strong>1999</strong> at his home. He was born September 8, 1926 to <strong>the</strong> late Lonnie<br />

and Alice Dalton of Indian Valley. He was preceded <strong>in</strong> death by his wife, W<strong>in</strong>nie<br />

Hollandsworth Dalton <strong>in</strong> 1973; two sisters, Gretchen Vansant and Ruby Roark.<br />

Survivors are: daughter and son-<strong>in</strong>-law, Glenda and Lloyd Sweareng<strong>in</strong>, Clifton<br />

Forge; sons and daughters-<strong>in</strong>-law, Roger Leon and Judy Dalton, Loy and Trish<br />

Dalton, Willis; sisters, Beatrice Viars, Radford, Mabel Longenecker, Lancaster,<br />

PA; bro<strong>the</strong>r, Leslie Dalton, R<strong>in</strong>er; grandchildren, Paulette Gilbert, Tracy Williams,<br />

Michael Williams, Helen Pettus, John Wayne Dalton, Rebecca Lynn Huff, Carie<br />

Jane Dalton, Amanda Lynn Dalton; 11 great-grandchildren; aunt, Clydie<br />

Quesenberry, Indian Valley; very special niece, Debbie Quesenberry; very special<br />

Wednesday at <strong>the</strong> Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Reverend Roy<br />

Turp<strong>in</strong> officiat<strong>in</strong>g. Burial <strong>in</strong> Indian Creek Cemetery. Donations may be made to <strong>the</strong><br />

American Cancer Society.<br />

RAYMOND HATLER STOCKNER<br />

COPPER HILL-Raymond Hatler Stockner, 57, formerly of Front Royal, Virg<strong>in</strong>ia,<br />

died Friday, October 8, <strong>1999</strong> at <strong>the</strong> VA Medical Center <strong>in</strong> Mart<strong>in</strong>sburg, West<br />

Virg<strong>in</strong>ia. Mr. Stockner was born October 11, 1941 <strong>in</strong> Leesburg, Virg<strong>in</strong>ia to Elsie<br />

Hawk<strong>in</strong>s Stockner and <strong>the</strong> late Arnold Lloyd Stockner. Mr. Stockner is survived by<br />

his mo<strong>the</strong>r, Elsie Hawk<strong>in</strong>s Stockner of Strasburg and his son, Aaron W. Stockner<br />

of Luray. Also surviv<strong>in</strong>g are three bro<strong>the</strong>rs, Arthur Stockner of Copper Hill, Millard<br />

Stockner of Strasburg, Gene Stockner of Williamston, West Virg<strong>in</strong>ia, and one<br />

sister, Eleanor Shaffer of Strasburg. Additional survivors <strong>in</strong>clude two<br />

grandchildren. A graveside service was held Wednesday, October 13, at 12:00<br />

p.m. at Panorama Memorial Gardens with Pastor Donald R. Bradley, Jr.<br />

officiat<strong>in</strong>g. Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal, handled arrangements.<br />
