The Services need a highly mobile, self-contained collective protection system which can provide a contamination free working area for Echelon I and II medical treatment facilities and other selected units.
The Chemical and Biological Protective Shelter (CBPS) satisfies this need and replaces the M51 Chemical Protective Shelter. The system consists of a Collectively Protected (CP) shelter modularized and
