The current investigations by the German and French anti-trust authorities, which are conducting<br />
separate proceedings to establish whether there have been agreements in restraint of competition<br />
in the wallpaper industry, may entail contingent liabilities. The German authorities have opened<br />
administrative offence proceedings against A.S. Création Tapeten <strong>AG</strong>. The company has submitted<br />
detailed objections to all allegations specified in the letter of accusation. The Federal Cartel<br />
Offi ce has not yet responded to the company’s arguments, which is why the Managing Board of<br />
A.S. Création is not in a position to make a reliable assessment of the possible outcome of the
