songwriter Joe Bonamassa is widely renowned for his insanely fl uid
phrasing and post-modern fusion of electric British blues, traditional
Delta blues and rock ‘n roll chops. His seventh solo album, Sloe
Gin, was released last year to rave reviews. Bonamassa will be performing

MAY 2 TO MAY 4 13th Annual Gamble Rogers Folk Festival The
very best in folk music will be presented in a three-day extravaganza
of entertainment, food and fun when the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival
comes to the St. Johns County Fairgrounds. This year’s edition
of the festival features nearly 70 performers including Gatorbone,
Stevie Coyle, Aaron O’Rourke Trio, John William Davis, Big Pineapple,

MAY 11 Pops at the Beach - Annual Mother’s Day Concert Grab

MAY 17 Drive-By Truckers / Dexateens Athens, Georgia’s Drive-
By Truckers went through quite a few changes in 2007- they parted
with their guitarist Jason Isbell, found a new one, wrote an amazing
album and have been spending the beginning of 2008 touring in
support of it. The band pulls into Jacksonville this month to play at

MAY 22 ZZ Top Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends ZZ Top have
been attracting fans since the early 1970s, and have only grown in
