This white. finely crystalline explosive solid Is obtained by the joint
reaction of urea, formaldehyde, and hydrogen peroxide 1 -.
Cyclotrimethylenetrinitrosamine:
This explosive compound was described by Bellini 1 as a product of the
action 01 nitrous acid on hexamethylenetetramine.
