Certifying the Checklist for the Certifying Officer<br />

LAR<br />

Regulation C requires that an officer certify the accuracy of the LAR. The following checklist<br />

will help you in this review. The answer <strong>to</strong> each of questions 2–8 must be “yes.”<br />

1. Has your institution acquired or merged with another institution during the reporting<br />

year? If so, refer <strong>to</strong> pages 5–6 of this <strong>Guide</strong>. ........................................................<br />

2. If you report more than 25 entries, has your institution’s loan/application register<br />

been prepared in an au<strong>to</strong>mated format, using the correct format for au<strong>to</strong>mated<br />

reports, and following the instructions from your supervisory agency? ....................<br />

3. Does your LAR use the same column headings in the same order as on the LAR<br />

provided in Appendix A <strong>to</strong> this <strong>Guide</strong>? (Column headings may be abbreviated, so<br />

long as the meaning remains clear.) ..........................................................................<br />

4. Does the register include the consolidated loan data from all of your institution’s<br />

divisions or branches (including loans and applications handled by your commercial<br />
