1.9 CLASSES<br />
1.9.1 Classes will be for the following categories:<br />
<strong>Superbike</strong> 4 stroke 2, 3 or 4 cylinders<br />
<strong>Supersport</strong> 4 stroke 2, 3 or 4 cylinders<br />
Superstock 4 stroke 2, 3 or 4 cylinders<br />
1.9.2 Technical Regulations governing the three classes are provided<br />
under chapter 2 of the Regulations.<br />
1.10 ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS<br />
The rider must be in possession of the adequate <strong>FIM</strong> Licence<br />
(<strong>Superbike</strong>, <strong>Supersport</strong> and Superstock) issued by a FMN. Licences<br />
are issued to riders designated by the <strong>FIM</strong> and IMS and can, in<br />
certain circumstances, be for a single event. To receive a licence,<br />
the rider must be in possession of a national licence of a FMN at no<br />
additional cost to the rider.<br />
Licenses for <strong>Superbike</strong> and <strong>Supersport</strong> riders are issued only when<br />
the minimum age has been attained as below:<br />
• <strong>Supersport</strong>: 16 years<br />
• <strong>Superbike</strong>: 18 years<br />
The limit for the minimum age starts on the date of the rider’s<br />
birthday.<br />
The limit for the maximum age finishes at the end of the year in<br />
which the rider reaches the age of 50.<br />
Licenses for Superstock riders are issued to riders born between 1 st<br />
January 1986 and 29th March 1996.<br />
The teams must be in possession of the appropriate “<strong>FIM</strong> Team<br />
Licence”.<br />
The constructors must be in possession of the appropriate “<strong>FIM</strong><br />
Manufacturer Licence”.<br />
