1.15.5 Qualifying practices results<br />
The results will be based on the fastest time recorded by the riders<br />
in all qualifying practices.<br />
In the case where all qualifying practices have been cancelled, the<br />
results will be based on the fastest time recorded by the riders in all<br />
free practices.<br />
In the event of a tie, riders’ second and subsequent best times will<br />
be taken into account.<br />
1.15.6 Qualification for the Race<br />
To qualify for the race, a rider must achieve a time at least equal to<br />
107% of the time recorded by the fastest rider of his class in at least<br />
one qualifying session.<br />
Any rider who fails to achieve a qualifying time will be permitted<br />
to take part in the race provided that in any of the free practice<br />
sessions he/she has achieved a time at least equal to 107% of the<br />
fastest rider in same session. Such riders will start the race from the<br />
back of the grid, according to their free practice times.<br />
Exemptions may be granted by the Race Direction.<br />
1.16 SUPERPOLE FOR SUPERBIKE<br />
No later than 10 minutes before the start of the Superpole, the Race Director<br />
will decide whether the Superpole will be run according to the “Dry”<br />
procedure (Art. 1.16.1) or the “Wet” procedure (Art. 1.16.3).<br />
If the Superpole is run according to the “Wet” procedure, a “Wet Superpole”<br />
board will be displayed in the pit lane and the same information will appear<br />
on the TV screens in the pit boxes. If no board is displayed the Superpole<br />
will automatically be “dry”.<br />
1.16.1 Participants – Dry Superpole<br />
- The first 16 riders of the qualifying practice results will take part in Dry<br />
Superpole 1 (14 minutes).<br />
- The first 12 riders of the Dry Superpole 1 results will take part in Dry<br />
Superpole 2 (12 minutes).<br />
