7. TOEFL scores are required of applicants seeking admission<br />

from non-English speaking countries. The TOEFL may be<br />

waived if the applicant has successfully completed at least<br />

two full academic years in a college/university in the United<br />

<strong>State</strong>s of America, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand<br />

or Canada.<br />

Evaluation of applications for admission to the MBA program will<br />

begin only when all the required documents have been received.<br />

Applicants seeking MBA admission for fall should have a<br />

complete application on file no later than August 1. Applications<br />

completed or received after the due date cannot be guaranteed<br />

timely matriculation.<br />

www.framingham.edu/dgce/mba or contact the Graduate and<br />

Continuing Education Office at 508-626-4550.<br />

Advisors are available for consultation about the MBA admission<br />

process, program requirements, and course selection. Individuals<br />

may make an appointment with an advisor by contacting 508-<br />

626-4550.<br />

Students who will be applying for admission to the MBA program<br />

may take foundation courses prior to applying for admission to<br />

the program. Students must seek the advice of the MBA Advisor<br />

when deciding whether to take foundation courses prior to<br />

applying for admission.<br />

Students entering the MBA program are to be familiar with and<br />

have access to the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access,<br />

and PowerPoint) or equivalent software that support Microsoft<br />

Office Suite formats specified by and acceptable to the faculty.<br />

Applications remaining incomplete for over one year will be<br />

considered inactive.<br />

Degree Requirements<br />

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION<br />

Each MBA course is offered for four (4) credits. The MBA degree<br />

program consists of 12 courses or 48 credits, consisting of<br />

ten (10) Core and two (2) Elective courses. Prior to enrolling<br />

in Core and Elective courses, students are required to<br />

fulfill six (6) foundation course requirements. All course<br />

prerequisites are to be observed.<br />
