Registration for MGMT 989, the Professional Project and<br />

Capstone in Strategic Management, requires the prior written<br />

permission of the Associate Dean of Graduate and Continuing<br />

Education. Students will not be permitted to fulfill this<br />

requirement with a course transferred from another institution.<br />

The course can only be taken after all other core courses<br />

have been completed. Students may take elective courses<br />

subsequently or concurrently with this course.<br />

BUIS 960 Project Management<br />

FINA 945 Investments<br />

MGMT 950 Labor Management Relations<br />

MGMT 965 Supply Chain Management<br />

MGMT 968 Managing in a Global Environment<br />

MGMT 975 Topics in Business<br />

Courses before Admission<br />

Students intending to apply for admission to the MBA program<br />

are not allowed to enroll in MBA Core or Elective courses prior to<br />

official admission into the program.<br />

Transfer Credit<br />

Transfer credit for prior graduate coursework completed at<br />

another accredited college or university will be considered<br />

at the time of MBA admission based on course descriptions<br />

and documentation submitted with the student’s application.<br />

Courses accepted in transfer must meet the academic criteria<br />

established by <strong>Framingham</strong> <strong>State</strong> College. A maximum of two<br />

(2) graduate courses may be accepted in transfer and applied<br />

toward the MBA degree program.<br />

Time Limits for Degree Completion<br />

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION<br />

All degree requirements must be met within six (6) years from<br />

the completion date of the first MBA Core or Elective course.<br />

Maximum Number of Courses per Semester<br />

Students may take no more than two courses each semester.<br />
