Winamac, Ind., Oct. 25. -- Charles Richard LUDWIG, 35, farmer residing near Riverbank in the<br />
southwest portion of the county, died at Woodlawn hospital, Rochester, Saturday, twenty-four hours after<br />
being admitted for treatment.<br />
<strong>The</strong> body was prepared for burial at the Kennedy funeral home in Winamac and funeral rites will be<br />
held at the Riverbank church at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon with burial in the adjoining cemetery.<br />
Mr. Ludwig is survived by the widow, a daughter, Nancy [LUDWIG], a sister, Katie LUDWIG, and<br />
three brothers, Thomas [LUDWIG] of Hammond, Francis [LUDWIG] and Clyde [LUDWIG], of<br />
Monterey, and his mother, Mrs. Jessie LUDWIG.<br />
Norman [BALDWIN] and William BALDWIN, Mrs. Nora BALDWIN Mr. and Mrs. H. OVERMYER<br />
and Mrs. Herman CLELAND were in Mishawaka Monday where they attended the funeral of their sisterin-law<br />
Mrs. Albert S. BALDWIN, aged 56, of Mishawaka. Burial was made in a cemetery at Mishawaka.<br />
Mrs. Albert Baldwin died in a hospital in South Bend Saturday morning from injuries she received<br />
Friday when a car driven by her husband figured in an accident with a machine driven by Dr. Paul OTTIG,<br />
North Central College, Napierville, Ill.<br />
<strong>The</strong> accident occurred as the two machines were rounding a curve in Road 20 a quarter of a mile west<br />
of New Carlisle. A tire on the Baldwin car blew out as it was being driven in the curve.<br />
After the tire blew Mr. Baldwin was unable to control his car and it careened into the path of the Ottig<br />
auto. Both cars were wrecked. Four persons in the Ottig car escaped without injury.<br />
Dr. Ottig was enroute to Jackson, Mich., to make an address when the accident occurred. Mr. Baldwin<br />
who is employed in the Mishawaka Rubber and Woolen Company at Mishawaka received many cuts and<br />
bruises.<br />

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles A. EDWARDS, 70, wife of a former member of the Indiana <strong>Public</strong><br />
Service Commission, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Flanner & Buchanan mortuary,<br />
Indianapolis. Interment will be made in the Crown Hill cemetery.<br />
Mrs. Edwards, the former Ella RAUCH, passed away Sunday at her home 4156 North Meridian street,<br />
death resulting from a bronchial affliction, following a lengthy illness.<br />
<strong>The</strong> deceased was born at Warren, Ind., in the year of 1868, and was united in marriage to Charles<br />
EDWARDS in 1890. Mr. Edwards was reared in Rochester. <strong>The</strong> Edwards lived in Huntington, Ind., for a<br />
long number of years before moving to Indianapolis 25 years ago. She was a member of the Second<br />
Presbyterian church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution in Indianapolis.<br />
Survivors are the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Charles F. MEYER, Jr., of Indianapolis; a brother, George<br />
W. RAUCH, of Marion, and three grandsons. Mrs. Henry A. BARNHART and Mrs. Clem V. MILLER, of<br />
this city, are sisters-in-law of the deceased.
