Charles H. GEIGER, of Macy, passed away at Woodlawn hospital during the noon hour Tuesday.<br />
Death resulted from diabetes following an illness of several months’ duration. He was brought to the local<br />
hospital when his condition became extremely grave a few days ago. <strong>The</strong> deceased had a wide<br />
acquaintance of friends throughout southern <strong>Fulton</strong> and Northern Miami counties.<br />
Charles H., son of Henry and Mary (RICKENBERG) GEIGER was born on a farm near Milford, Ind.,<br />
on November 29th, 1874, and resided in that community for over a score of years. He was united in<br />
marriage to Nellie GOOD, of Warsaw, on July 2nd, 1895. <strong>The</strong> Geigers for a long number of years resided<br />
on a farm east of Macy where he specialized in the growing of onions and potatoes. Later he removed to<br />
Macy. Mr. Geiger was a member of the Church of God of Akron.<br />
<strong>The</strong> survivors are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Mable CROFT, Mrs. Faudlin HILL, Mrs.<br />
Marguerite TILDEN, all of Akron; Mrs. Fay POWELL, of near Gilead; Mrs. Martena BICK, of Rochester;<br />
four sons, Henry [GEIGER], of Akron; Lloyd [GEIGER] and Cloyce [GEIGER], of near Macy; Richard<br />
[GEIGER], at home; 23 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cora MEEK and Mrs. Emma LENTZ, both of near<br />
Milford; and four brothers, Leroy [GEIGER], of Ft. Wayne; Walter [GEIGER], of South Bend; William<br />
[GEIGER], of Silver Lake, and Henry [GEIGER] of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.<br />
Funeral services will be held at the Akron Church of God on Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Rev.<br />
HEDGES and Rev. ASHLAND will be in charge of the rites. Interment will be made in the Akron<br />
cemetery.<br />
Funeral services for John F. WILSON, a retired farmer, who died Monday at the home of his daughter<br />
Mrs. Jennie HENDERSON in Kewanna, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Harrison funeral home in<br />
Kewanna. Rev. O. R. SIDES, pastor of the Methodist Church at Kewanna, will officiate. Interment will be<br />
made in the Schaffer cemetery east of Kewanna.<br />
Thursday, February 4, <strong>1937</strong><br />
Frank I. DUDDLESON, aged 77, died at the farm home of his daughter, Mrs. Maude KREIGHBAUM,<br />
who resides on a farm eight miles southwest of Argos at 2 o’clock Thursday morning. Death was due to a<br />
stroke of paralysis which he suffered a few hours before he died.<br />
<strong>The</strong> deceased was born in Ohio on August 16, 1859. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Albert<br />
DUDDLESON. He had lived near Argos all of his life and was the owner of a farm five miles southeast of<br />
Argos. His wife, whom he married on March 26, 1882 was Martha A. KAMP. She died May 27, 1924.<br />
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. KREIGHBAUM and Mrs. Bertha GRAY of Galveston and three<br />
sons, Earl DUDDLESON, Fort Wayne, Otto DUDDLESON, Plymouth and Everett DUDDLESON,<br />
Michigan City.<br />
<strong>The</strong> funeral services will be held from the Grossman funeral home in Argos at 2 p.m. Saturday with<br />
Rev. James EATON, pastor of the Santa Anna church officiating. Burial will be made in the Maple Grove<br />
cemetery at Argos.<br />
Arthur SHERLAND of Argos, received word last night of the death of his father, John SHERLAND,<br />
who died at his home in Plymouth. <strong>The</strong> son, five grandchildren and one great-grandson are the only<br />
survivors. <strong>The</strong> deceased was born near Donaldson on October 19, 1848 and had lived near Donaldson all of<br />
his life except for a few years when he resided in South Bend. <strong>The</strong> funeral services will be held at 2:30<br />
o’clock Friday afternoon from the Johnson
