In their press conference, the festival directors expressed
their satisfaction at the success in artistic and audience
terms of this 20th festival, and emphasized “the qualitative
leap that the festival has undertaken with the new
location of Sónar by Day, the ideal place for presenting
the shows and activities of Sónar+D under excellent conditions,
and which allows us to envisage the future of the
festival with some excitement.” They also highlighted “the
extraordinary reception and participation in the Sónar+D
activities,” which achieved a “high level of visibility and
a natural integration with the music line-up.” In addition,
they stressed the opportunities for business and
collaboration, due to the many contacts that were made
between entrepreneurs, artists and the attending public.
The festival is conducting a survey among the more than
2,800 accredited professionals to find out the level of
satisfaction and identify the business opportunities that
have been created over the three days.
Sonar+D, with more than 2.800 registered professionals
from 53 countries, has been the first of a series of collaboration
between Sonar and the Mobile World Capital
Barcelona.
