Contractual relationship with the holder of the rights to the event<br />

• The <strong>org</strong>anisers (“Bardoneccia 2007 Committee”) hold the rights to the event.<br />

The Committee is affiliated to the Italian Ski Federation (FISI). There was no<br />

contract, only a letter of attribution. The Italian Ski Federation did not<br />

provide any material support.<br />

Organisational structure<br />

• The Junior <strong>Alpine</strong> Skiing World Championships were <strong>org</strong>anised by an Association<br />

that brought together members of Bardoneccia Town Council, the town’s ski<br />

club, the hotelier’s association, local tourism agencies, the association of local<br />

trades people and the ski school. This association will remain active until 2007,<br />

because some of the events for the 2007 Turin Universiade will be held in the<br />

area.<br />

• The Association has ten departments, which report to the general management:<br />

accreditation, accommodation, competition, medical, press, ceremonies,<br />

logistics, security, ski-slope equipment and rescue.<br />
