If the measured densities are considerably higher than the target densities, it may be a good idea to correct the output profile. This allows a larger portion of the printer’s color gamut to be used. Note down the measured values and proceed as described below. 12.Close the dialogs by clicking DONE, APPLY and DONE. Correct Output Profile We recommend to correct the target density values (D-Max) in Fiery’s output profile, if considerably higher values were measured during calibration. You should set the target values a little lower than the measured values to allow for possible color drifts that may occur over time. Example: Target value in output profile: 1.60 Measured value: 1.80 New target value: 1.75 1. Select DEVICE CENTER | RESOURCES | PROFILES. 2. Open the list of OUTPUT PROFILES. 3. Right-click the output profile you have created, e.g. ‘ORIS Pearl Digital 170 gsm’, and select EDIT PROFILE.
