AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL Scarlett’s Amnesty International Multi Issues Club has been challenged by Mr. Lederer’s AP classes to raise much needed food for the Interfaith Food Bank. The “Beat the Geeks” food drive will be held from March 10 th until the 14 th . We ask that students bring in money rather than cans as this is less cumbersome to handle, and staff at the food bank know what food items to purchase. PHYS.ED. 30 & PHYS.ED 20 Grade 12’s P.E.30 – the date for our camping trip is May 28 after school to Friday, May 30. Mark the dates in your calendar. It is the highlight of our P.E.30 year. Now is a good time to start looking to borrow the basic for camping. Backpacks, tents and sleeping bags are a must. Students will be expected to provide their own gear so they will have to rent, if they can’t borrow. There will be a compulsory parents meeting on May 21 st at 6:00 in the main gym. Free Fitness Training – The fitness centre has just received 5 new aerobic fitness machines. The centre is open Monday – Thursday 4:00 – 5:30 pm for any student to work out. There is no cost, all they must do is come to the P.E. office and sign a membership sheet and they can get started.
