The retractile testis:<br />

- Occurs in childhood due to an overactive cremasteric reflex when the<br />

skin of scrotum or thigh is stimulated.<br />

- Can always be brought to bottom of scrotum by squatting or flexation<br />

of the thigh to abdomen (chair test) in a warm room Fig. (12).<br />

- Scrotum is well-developed.<br />

- Retractile testis is normal and requires no treatment.<br />
