Leukemia:<br />

8% of children with ALL.<br />

Diffuse testicular swelling.<br />

Scrotal discoloration.<br />

Bilateral in 50% of cases.<br />

Metastatic:<br />

Multiple testicular masses<br />

Primary lesion may be prostate, lung, intestinal, kidney cancers.<br />

HYDROCELE<br />

Hydrocele is an abnormal collection of serous fluid in some part of<br />

the processus vaginalis, usually the tunica. The testis is impalpable<br />

hydrocele transilluminates Fig. (15).<br />

CONGENITAL HYDROCELE:<br />

1. Vaginal hydrocele: very common.<br />

2. Infantile hydrocele: the processus vaginalis is obliterated at<br />

the external inguinal ring.
