Ectopic testis:<br />
- Very rare.<br />
- The testis is abnormally placed outside its path Fig. (13):<br />
At the superficial inguinal pouch: subcutaneous, easily felt,<br />
bulges more if the abdominal muscles contract.<br />
In the perineum.<br />
At the root of the penis.<br />
In the femoral triangle.<br />
- The testis is usually well-developed but liable to injury.<br />

Torsion of the testis:<br />
- History:<br />
Teenager around puberty, the most common peak age at 14.<br />
It occurs less frequently during the first year of life.<br />
Acute onset.<br />
Awakening from sleep 80%.<br />
Pain peaks immediately.<br />
Nausea, vomiting.<br />
