Cell Delivery System
When injecting stem cells
viability of cells can be a major
issue. The Harvard Apparatus
NanoCool is the only cooled cell
injection system with optional
cooled and oxygenated vortex
mixer. The injection system and
sample vortex holder are held at
18ºC. The cell delivery is totally
integrated in it operation through
the NanoCool’s microprocessor
system: power, temperature
injection volumes and flow
ramping are all controlled by the
NanoCool’s program. Keeping the
cells at 18ºC instead of 37ºC reduces O 2
consumption of cells by an
average of 76%. The chart to the right shows the different organ
utilization curves.
