Tygon ® Microbore Tubing<br />

PVDF tubing is ideal for fluid applications which require a high degree<br />

of purity such as <strong>the</strong> transfer of ultra-pure deionized water. Thinner<br />

walled PVDF tubing is translucent making it easier <strong>to</strong> confirm fluid<br />

movement. Thin wall PVDF tubing is also more flexible than FEP and<br />

PFA tubing but does not have as broad a working temperature range.<br />

Select Tygon ® Microbore Tubing for intravenous and arterial infusion as<br />

well as o<strong>the</strong>r surgical and labora<strong>to</strong>ry applications. It is flexible enough<br />

<strong>to</strong> permit <strong>the</strong> use of a single size tubing with several different needle<br />

gauges, yet sufficiently rigid <strong>to</strong> minimize <strong>the</strong> danger of wall collapse.<br />

Tygon ® Microbore Tubing is non-<strong>to</strong>xic, non-pyrogenic and<br />

biocompatible. Tygon ® Microbore Tubing can be sterilized by<br />

radiation, ethylene oxide, steam or chemical methods. Durometer<br />

hardness: Shore A, 83.*<br />
