4. A method of obtaining repair services.<br />
D. Environmental Services.<br />
Solutions, cleaning compounds, disinfectants, vermin control chemicals, and all<br />
other potentially hazardous substances that are used in connection with<br />
environmental services shall be:<br />
1. Kept in containers which accurately reflect at least the following:<br />
a. Content name;<br />
b. Concentration of solution;<br />
c. Expiration date and lot number;<br />
2. Stored in a secured area. Under no circumstances shall these substances<br />
be stored in or near food storage or food preparation areas;<br />
E. Laundry Services.<br />
1. Facility laundry service:<br />
a. Sorting of soiled laundry shall be done in a designated area;<br />
b. Tables or bins shall be provided for sorting of soiled laundry;<br />
c. Lint traps shall be provided on dryers and shall be cleaned<br />
regularly;<br />
d. Pre-rinsing shall be done in the laundry service not in showers,<br />
bathtubs or lavatories;<br />
e. Removal of solid soil shall be done in soiled utility rooms or rooms<br />
that are designated for this purpose;<br />
f. Patient clothing may be washed in the patient area if a separate<br />
equipped laundry room is available;<br />
g. A rinsing sink shall be provided in the soiled linen area of the<br />
laundry;<br />
