National Instruments announced the LabVIEW FPGA
IP Builder add-on, which uses leading Xilinx VivadoTM
High-Level Synthesis technology to simplify high-performance
field-programmable gate array (FPGA) algorithm
design. This new LabVIEW add-on enhances productivity
by reducing the need for manual optimization of highperformance
algorithms. Instead, users specify functional
behavior along with design constraints and the software
automatically generates a hardware implementation to
meet requirements. The new add-on tightly integrates
with LabVIEW and the LabVIEW DSP Design Module, a
LabVIEW module that helps researchers and system
designers in the RF and telecommunications space quickly
create communication links and multirate digital signal
processing (DSP) algorithms on FPGAs.

Amp Systems
AR Modular RF has received JITC certification for its
KMW2030 tactical radio amplifier system (30 MHz - 512
MHz / 125 watts) when used with the Harris PRC-117G
tactical radio. It has been previously certified for use with
the PRC 117F and the PSC-5D. The KMW2030 was tested
along with its associated Low Noise SATCOM pre-amp,
the KMW2030P. This auto-band switching AM/FM-UHF/
VHF DAMA amplifier uniquely fills the need for highpower
tactical communications from ground vehicles, and
can also be used for aircraft tactical operations. Designed
for easy operation, the user need only select MODE and
POWER LEVEL to operate.

Adapters
Both In-Series and Between-Series precision adapters
from SGMC Microwave offer low VSWR, captivated center
contact, and ruggedized construction for repeatability
