Important: Exercise caution when opening<br />

messages. E-mail messages may contain<br />

malicious software or otherwise be harmful to<br />

your device or PC.<br />

To retrieve all e-mail messages from the mailbox to your<br />

phone, select Options > Retrieve e-mail > All.<br />

To view e-mail attachments, indicated with , select<br />

Options > Attachments. You can retrieve, open, or save<br />

attachments in supported formats.<br />

To delete an e-mail from the phone while still retaining it<br />

in the remote mailbox, select Options > Delete > Phone<br />

only. The e-mail heading stays in your phone. To delete an<br />

e-mail from the phone and the remote mailbox, select<br />

Options > Delete > Phone and server.<br />

To cancel deletion of an e-mail from both the phone and<br />

server, scroll to an e-mail that has been marked to be<br />

deleted during the next connection, and select Options ><br />

Restore.<br />

When you are online, to end the data connection to the<br />

remote mailbox, select Options > Disconnect. You can<br />

view the retrieved e-mail messages and headings offline.<br />

With Msg. reader, you can listen to received text,<br />

multimedia, and e-mail messages.<br />

To listen to a message in Inbox or Mailbox, scroll to the<br />

message or mark the messages, and select Options ><br />

Listen. To skip to the next message, scroll down.<br />

Tip: When 1 new message or 1 new e-mail is<br />

displayed in the standby mode, to listen to the<br />

received messages, press and hold the left<br />

selection key until Msg. reader starts.<br />

To select the default language and voice used for reading<br />

messages and adjust the voice properties, such as rate and<br />

volume. Select Menu > Settings > Speech.<br />

View messages on the SIM card<br />

To view messages on the SIM card, select Menu ><br />

Messaging > Options > SIM messages, and copy the SIM<br />

messages to a folder in your phone.<br />
