<strong>Wine</strong> Collective Adds Seven Vintner Partners<br />
The historic stone Yountville gallery<br />
known <strong>as</strong> Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley h<strong>as</strong> added<br />
seven vintner partners to its t<strong>as</strong>ting collective,<br />
bringing its total to 15 wineries showc<strong>as</strong>ed<br />
in and amongst the eclectic space for<br />
art, furnishings and wine t<strong>as</strong>tings. Taken <strong>as</strong> a<br />
whole, Ma(i)sonry h<strong>as</strong> been developed to<br />
inspire “a life aesthetic.”<br />
“Over the l<strong>as</strong>t year, Ma(i)sonry Napa<br />
Valley h<strong>as</strong> been approached by over 100<br />
brands with an interest in becoming a<br />
vintner partner,” comments Paul Leary, president<br />
of Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley. “Ma(i)sonry<br />
enlists the expertise of five wine professionals<br />
to review the submissions together in<br />
periodic t<strong>as</strong>tings, taking into consideration<br />
the varietal or blend, appellation, winemaker,<br />
strength of the brand and its<br />
resources, current distribution, price<br />
integrity in the market, differentiated brand<br />
story, and overall quality.” The seven new<br />
vintner partners include Juslyn Vineyards,<br />
L’Angevin <strong>Wine</strong>s, Peirson Meyer, Rivera<br />
Vineyards, Skipstone, Tamber Bey and<br />
Uvaggio.<br />
Ma(i)sonry provides a stylized backdrop<br />
for the appreciation of limited-production,<br />
boutique wines. Flight t<strong>as</strong>tings at Ma(i)sonry<br />
range from $5-$40 or guests may sample a<br />
variety of wines in ounce pours or by the<br />
bottle. T<strong>as</strong>tings can be enjoyed in any<br />
number of settings designed to satisfy guest<br />
preferences: private t<strong>as</strong>ting rooms and great<br />
room lounges, outdoor individual and<br />
communal tables, seats around the fire pit or<br />
on blankets stretched out on the lawn of the<br />
Ma(i)sonry gardens.<br />
