The design of the Children’s Education and
Innovation Centre in Valencia’s Technology Park
brilliantly demonstrates the application of ceramics
using different geometric shapes. The
cylindrical building is made up of both straight
and curved ceramic tiles, produced by the company
Natucer. The combination of bright colours
and bespoke moulded shapes, innovative ideas
and a high-tech manufacturing process, practicality
and a concern for the environment, work
together to make the new Children’s Education
and Innovation Centre a beacon for the contemporary
use of Spanish ceramics.
