Master Plumbers Practical Test Prep<br />
& Lead Wiping<br />
Prepare for the Master Plumber’s License<br />
Practical Test. Successful completion of the<br />
Practical Test is necessary to qualify for Master<br />
Plumber’s License Certification in all <strong>Suffolk</strong><br />
and Nassau locations. Class will focus on the<br />
requirements for the two types of tests now<br />
used. Depending on the township where test<br />
is to be taken, students will focus on either the<br />
lead wiping portion of the test or fabrication<br />
of a lead shower pan and pipe fitting project.<br />
Students must purchase tools and materials<br />
(approx. $800 for lead wiping or $400 for lead<br />
pan/pipe project) listed at www.wilsontech.org/<br />
supplies. All tools and materials used in class<br />
will be needed for licensing tests. May be taken<br />
in conjunction with Plumbing I or II. Prereq:<br />
Prior experience in the plumbing trade. Note:<br />
to sit for the licensing exam, you must have five<br />
years plumbing trade experience.<br />

multimedia and CSS standards. Students will<br />
also implement the latest strategies to develop<br />
third-generation web sites, evaluate design<br />
tools, discuss future technology standards, and<br />
explore the incompatibility issues surrounding<br />
current browsers. Focus on theory, design,<br />
and web construction, along with information<br />
architecture concepts, web project management,<br />
scenario development and performance<br />
evaluations. Prerequisite: Successful completion<br />
of CIW Foundation Series.<br />

E-Commerce Strategies/Practices<br />
Prepare yourself for the world of<br />
e-commerce! Learn the technological issues<br />
associated with constructing a web site<br />
for conducting business online. Students<br />
will actually implement a web site for<br />
handling transactions between consumers<br />
and a business. Examine strategies and<br />
products for building electronic-commerce<br />
sites, examine how such sites are managed,<br />
and explore how they can complement<br />
the infrastructure of an existing business.<br />
Create smooth electronic transactions<br />
between the credit card holder, the merchant,<br />
the card issuer, and the business’ own<br />
financial institution. Prerequisite: Successful<br />
completion of CIW Foundation Series and<br />
