This course will help prepare you to take the Personal<br />

Trainer Certification exam from the International Sports<br />

Sciences Association (ISSA). Learn basic exercise science,<br />

nutrition, fitness assessment, exercise programming,<br />

instructional and spotting techniques.<br />

Study anatomy, kinesiology, injury prevention,<br />

supplementation and nutrition and all aspects of weight<br />

and strength training as you prepare for employment as a<br />

personal trainer in a gym or fitness center or as a consultant<br />

for your own business.<br />

You’ll gain first hand experience in Tech’s new fitness<br />

center where you’ll learn to apply your coursework to sound<br />

health and fitness programming on state-of-the-art exercise<br />

equipment.<br />

Certification exam administered by ISSA, CPR required<br />
