ABOUT ACTIVE DRIVER 1<br />
The Active Driver 1 unit is a comprehensive device that includes hydraulic system connections, a pressure sensor, a<br />
flow sensor and an electronic frequency converter (inverter). When fitted to the delivery of each pump, the Active Driver<br />
1 regulates the rotation speed of the electric pump to which it is connected maintaining a constant pressure in relation<br />
to the flow rate variation of the water. The water that flows through the Active Driver 1 also helps to cool the internal<br />
electronic components.<br />
OPERATION<br />
When pressure drops because of a water request, only one pump runs in order to satisfy water need. The second and<br />
third pumps start operation in cascade when the first one reaches maximum velocity. The user can adjust the pressure<br />
of the pumps by means of the two + and – buttons on the Active Driver 1 (the pumps are set as standard at the same<br />
pressure value).<br />
The pumps cut-out under the following conditions:<br />
- pump overcurrent<br />
- dry running<br />
- low supply voltage<br />
- max. pressure value exceeded (adjustable)<br />
- Active driver 1 electronic components overheating.<br />
Two or three pump boosters with Active Driver 1 are supplied along with a safety control unit<br />
with magneto-thermal cut-out and power supply input terminal board.<br />
