express post article means an article lodged for carriage by the express post service or the<br />
express post international service.<br />
express post envelope or container means an envelope or container supplied by <strong>Australia</strong><br />
<strong>Post</strong> for use in the express post service.<br />
express post international envelope or container means an envelope or container<br />
supplied by <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> for use in the express post international service.<br />
Express <strong>Post</strong> International – Parcels means EMS.<br />
express post parcel means a parcel lodged at an office for carriage by the express post<br />
service and to which an express post parcel label has been affixed.<br />
express post platinum container means a container supplied by <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> for use in<br />
the express post service.<br />
facsimile document means a facsimile reproduction of an original document.<br />
fax centre means an office or other place which has been designated by <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> as<br />
a Fax Centre.<br />
general postal service terms and conditions means these <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> terms and<br />
conditions and includes the appendices and schedules hereto as amended.<br />
guidelines means information issued by <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> from time to time whereby <strong>Australia</strong><br />
<strong>Post</strong> provides details of products and services provided, and practice and procedures set<br />
down by <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong> for the use of these products and services and the effective and<br />
efficient operation of the business of <strong>Australia</strong> <strong>Post</strong>, including but not limited to the following<br />
howsoever named:<br />
(i) General <strong>Post</strong> guide;<br />
(ii) <strong>Post</strong> charges booklet;<br />
(iii) Dangerous and Prohibited Goods Packaging <strong>Post</strong> guide;<br />
(iv) International <strong>Post</strong> Services guide;<br />
(v) Letter <strong>Post</strong> guide;<br />
(vi) Parcel <strong>Post</strong> guide;<br />
(vii) PreSort Service guide;<br />
(viii) <strong>Conditions</strong> of use for <strong>Post</strong>age Meters;<br />
(ix) Print <strong>Post</strong> Service guide;<br />
(x) Clean Mail guide<br />
(xi) Impact Mail guide<br />
(xii) Acquisition Mail guide<br />
IATA means the International Air Transport Association.<br />
infectious perishable biological substance means infectious substances under Division 6.2<br />
of the IATA Regulations.<br />
international carriage means carriage between <strong>Australia</strong> and places outside <strong>Australia</strong> but<br />
not including domestic carriage.<br />
