1.5.2.1 John Cubon (5990) was born circa 1705. He married Joney <strong>Corkish</strong> on the 15th<br />

<strong>of</strong> July, 1727, at Rushen.<br />

1.6.1 Patrick <strong>Corkish</strong> (4771) was baptized on the 12th <strong>of</strong> January, 1726, at Rushen. He<br />

did not survive childhood. He is mentioned in his mother’s Will <strong>of</strong> 1731 so was<br />

presumably alive at her death, but there is a note in her inventory that one <strong>of</strong> the<br />

children had died and part <strong>of</strong> his funeral expenses were debited to her estate. A<br />

burial has not been found at Rushen.<br />

1.6.2 John <strong>Corkish</strong> (4772) was baptized on the 28th <strong>of</strong> August, 1729, at Rushen with<br />

his twin sister. It is likely that he grew up with his <strong>Corkish</strong> grand–parents as there is<br />

a note to his mother’s Will that his legacy was placed in the hands <strong>of</strong> his<br />

grand–father.<br />

1.6.3 Margaret <strong>Corkish</strong> (4773) was baptized on the 28th <strong>of</strong> August, 1729, at Rushen<br />

with her twin brother. It is likely that she was brought up with her brother by her<br />

<strong>Corkish</strong> grand–parents. She married Ewan Qualtrough on the 16th <strong>of</strong> July, 1757, at<br />

Rushen. Margaret Qualtrough was buried at Rushen on the 20th <strong>of</strong> August, 1766.<br />

1.6.3.1 Ewan Qualtrough (5857) was baptized on 19th <strong>of</strong> January, 1723, at Rushen, the<br />

son <strong>of</strong> Henry Qualtrough & Elinor Waterson. He married Margaret <strong>Corkish</strong> on the<br />

16th <strong>of</strong> July, 1757, at Rushen. See 1.7 for details <strong>of</strong> his descendants.<br />

1.7.1 Ewan Qualtrough (5858) was baptized on the 9th <strong>of</strong> July, 1758, at Rushen. He<br />

married Alice Cottier on the 19th <strong>of</strong> September, 1792, at Rushen. He died on the<br />

29th <strong>of</strong> June, 1817.<br />

1.7.2 Esther Qualtrough (5859) was baptized on the 24th <strong>of</strong> March, 1761, at Rushen.<br />

She married Charles Corjeage on the 29th <strong>of</strong> April, 1783, at Rushen.<br />

1.7.3 Isabel Qualtrough (5909) was baptized on the 8th <strong>of</strong> May, 1763, at Rushen. She<br />

died <strong>of</strong> smallpox and was buried on the 20th <strong>of</strong> April, 1765, at Rushen.<br />
