• Norsk Standard code NS3472/Eurocode 03/Norsok.
• Capacity (KN) is calculated using point load on the centre of the horizontal support.
• Piping: ULS – Ultimate Limit state – Load factor 1,3 – Material factor 1,15 on r = 210N/mm².
• Other disciplines: SLS -. Load factor 1,0 – Material factor 1,15 on r = 210N/mm².
• Deflection allowance piping: L/300 or 3 mm. Most conservative used.
• Deflection allowance other disciplines: L/200
• Section properties are based on effective values reduced for perforations.
• For blast calculation a P(y)=70% of capacity load is used to estimate max blast in x-direction.
• We do not recommend to use channel CH100-1-1,5 as horizontal support for widths > 1,2 m.
For these applications please substitute to either CH100-1 double or CH100-2T-2mm.
