Year 11 Geography Camp
Students from Year 11
Geography took part in a 3
day camp in late March
where they investigated
both volcanic and coastal
environments. On the first
two days the volcanic
environments of the
western plains were
visited. Places such as Red
Rock, Lake Corangamite,
Tower Hill and Mt Eccles
were researched and we
even all climbed Mt
Elephant.
On the third day we began
our coastal experience by
visiting Peterborough, Port
Campbell, Loch Ard
Gorge and lastly the
spectacular 12 Apostles.
Overall it was a wonderful
three days as the students
were able to learn and
visualise a lot of
information that had
previously only been
discussed in the text books.

Moore, for all of her assistance over the three days.
