With 40 years of experience and recognized expertise in every area of its original<br />
Foodservices business, including gastronomy, well-balanced nutrition, food safety,<br />
socially responsible procurement and environmental protection, Sodexo possesses<br />
all the strengths required in a market in which only 45 percent of services are<br />
outsourced today.<br />
THE YEAR’S SALES SUCCESSES<br />
> Corporate Services<br />
United States: Wellpoint, Inc. chose Sodexo to provide<br />
Foodservices for 30,000 customers at 67 sites<br />
and SodexoMagic won the employee Foodservices<br />
contract at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.<br />
> Leisure<br />
France: Sodexo ensures Foodservices at<br />
the Eiffel Tower, featuring an original culinary<br />
and commercial approach developed in partnership<br />
with the Alain Ducasse group.<br />
United States: Sodexo inaugurated “Café St. Barts”<br />
on Park Avenue in New York, one of the most<br />
celebrated addresses in the world.<br />
<strong>2006</strong>-<strong>2007</strong> AWARDS:<br />
> Defense<br />
Sweden: The Armed Forces selected Sodexo<br />
to provide Foodservices at its fi ve training camps<br />
in the Norbotten region.<br />
> Health Care<br />
United Kingdom: Nuffi eld has selected Sodexo to<br />
handle Foodservices for patients, visitors and staff<br />
at its 39 hospitals. The contract makes Sodexo<br />
the national leader in the private hospital market.<br />
> Education<br />
Chile: Santo Tomas de Santiago University awarded<br />
Sodexo the contract to deliver Foodservices to<br />
its 12,000 students at six sites.<br />
Singapore: Sodexo won the Foodservices contract<br />
at the American School (3,800 students).<br />
United States<br />
The “Best Concept” prize was awarded by Food Management Magazine for Sweet Shots,<br />
conveniently packaged treats allowing customers to enjoy small portions of desserts<br />
in the workplace without worrying about calories.
