<strong>NETWORK</strong> CONFIGURATION<br />

It provides networked monitoring of Live screen from a remote place, and supports mail forwarding function with<br />

events. You can configure the network environment which enables such functions.<br />

Interface<br />

You can set the network connection route and protocol.<br />

Network1/Network2 connection settings<br />

Sets the protocol and environment of the network.<br />

• IP Type : Sets the network connection mode.<br />

• Network1 / Network2 Transfer Bandwidth : Enter the maximum amount of upload data bandwidth for each<br />

network.<br />

Check the assigned setting in Connection Mode before entering your value.<br />

The maximum amount of network retransmission is limited to 64MB for both network1 and 2. Network1 is<br />

set to use maximum bandwidth by default.<br />

` Even though Network1 and Network2 are assigned with IP addresses from the same range, only the Network1 becomes<br />

accessible if they are connected to physically different networks.<br />

` Even when only one Ethernet port of Network1 and Network2 is connected to the network, both Network1 and 2 become<br />

accessible if they are assigned with Static IP addresses in the same range.<br />

• IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS<br />

- For : You can directly input IP address, Gateway, Subnet Mask and DNS.<br />

- For : IP address, Gateway, and Subnet Mask are set automatically.<br />

- For : IP address, Gateway, and Subnet Mask are set automatically.<br />

• ID, Password : In case you selected PPPoE, provide the "ID" and its "Password".<br />

` The data amount received by the Live Viewer is limited to the sum of all distributed data amount per channel, based on the<br />

assigned total retransmission data amount.<br />

Due to this reason, the actual received video data amount in live mode may be less than data transmission amount specified<br />

in settings. To make the video look more smoothly, you can increase data traffic with bitrate setting and watch the video in a<br />

single screen mode or in a split screen mode of a smaller number of channels.<br />
