DDNS Setting<br />
DDNS is a short form of Dynamic Domain Naming System.<br />
DNS (Domain Name System) is a service that routes a domain name consisting of user friendly characters<br />
(ex : www.google.com) to an IP address consisting of numbers (64.233.189.104).<br />
DDNS (Dynamic DNS) is a service that registers a domain name and the floating IP address with the DDNS<br />
server so that the domain name can be routed to the IP address even if the IP is changed in a dynamic IP<br />
system.<br />
• Setting DDNS in the NVR<br />
Set in the menu of the connected NVR to the following :<br />
Ex) Protocol Type : TCP<br />
Device Port : 554 ~ 557<br />
DDNS Site : iPOLiS<br />

• DDNS Settings of the Router<br />
Select the corresponding menu for the network transfer protocol of the router.<br />
• Setting up UPnP of Router<br />
Refer to the router's documentation to enable the UPnP function of the router.<br />
IP Filtering<br />
You can create a list of IPs that you want to grant or deny access to them.<br />
• Filtering Type :<br />
- Deny : Access from the IP(s), which is(are) added to the filtering, will be restricted.<br />
- Allow : Access from only IP(s) added to the filtering will be accepted.<br />
• Use : Select the check box(es) of the IP(s) to use IP filtering.<br />
• IP Address : Enter the IP address to filter.<br />
• Filtering Range : If you enter the IP address and its Prefix, the range of allowed/denied IP addresses appears.<br />
