Electrotechnology Applications Center – Provides
confidential assistance to businesses and manufacturers to
help them increase productivity, improve energy efficiency
and achieve and maintain environmental compliance. Helps
businesses gain a competitive advantage by applying alternative
technologies to improve heating, drying, coating and curing
processes.
Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh Community
Investment Programs – Works to foster affordable housing
and community development opportunities in very low-,
low- and moderate-income areas through advocacy, creative
financing and technical assistance. Programs include the
Affordable Housing Program (AHP), the Banking On Business
(BOB) program, the Community Lending Program (CLP), First
Front Door program, and Blueprint Communities program.
Pennsylvania Downtown Center – Promotes and supports
the vitality of Pennsylvania’s downtowns and traditional
neighborhood business districts by providing local groups with
the techniques and strategies needed to recapture or sustain
their downtowns as a vibrant civic, social, and economic center
of activity.

University City Science Center – Accelerates technology
commercialization, regional economic development, and the
market availability of life-enhancing scientific breakthroughs
by bringing together innovations, scientists, entrepreneurs,
funding, laboratory facilities, and business services. Established
in 1963 and headquartered in Philadelphia, the Science Center
was the first urban research park in the United States. Its 31
nonprofit shareholders include many of the distinguished
colleges, universities, hospitals and research institutions
throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
