FEDERAL PROGRAMS
Grants for Public Works and Economic Development
(CFDA No. 11.300) – Program promotes long-term economic
development and assists in the construction of public works
and development facilities needed to initiate and support the
creation or retention of permanent jobs in the private sector in
areas experiencing substantial distress.
International Trade Administration (ITA) – Strengthens
the competitiveness of U.S. industry, promotes trade and
investment, and ensures fair trade through the rigorous
enforcement of our trade laws and agreements. ITA works
to improve the global business environment and helps U.S.
organizations compete at home and abroad. ITA supports the
National Export Initiative to sustain economic growth and
support American jobs.
Jobs and Innovation Accelerator Challenge – The Jobs
Accelerator leverages existing financial and technical resources
to support the development of high-growth industry clusters.
Funds awarded to the winning applicants can be used to achieve
measurable outcomes such as commercialization, business
formation, expansion of existing businesses, job creation, and
exports.
StormReady – Helps arm America’s communities with the
communication and safety skills needed to save lives and
property–before and during the event. StormReady helps
community leaders and emergency managers strengthen local
safety programs.
University Centers Program (CFDA No. 11.303) – Program
provides grants and cooperative agreements to help colleges
and universities use their own and outside resources to address
economic development problems.
