Do you have any pets, and if so, what kind? I
have a pet dog and her name is Alma. She is
an Australian shepherd. She is 14 in human
years (very old). We have a number of fish in our
outside fountain, but we don’t know how many,
because we can’t see them. They might have
been eaten by a raccoon. My sister has a gray
and brown dwarf hamster.
Now I don’t have any pet except my fish, but I
will buy a cat soon.
What is your favorite animal? My favorite animal
is a snow fox because they are very cute and
mysterious.
My favorite animal is a cat because they are
very beautiful.
What grade are you in and how many students
are in your class? I’m in 5th grade and 17 kids
are in my class.
I’m in 5th grade and there are 29 kids in my
class.
Describe your school to me. Our campus is very
big. Most of it is either garden or a place to run
around. We have three main buildings—one is
for Kindergarten through third grade. On the first
floor are Kindergarten, first grade and the
Spanish room for the younger kids. On the
second floor is second and third grade, as well
as Spanish for the upper grades and some
of fices. The fourth, fifth and sixth grades are in
two different buildings right next to each other.
There is also another building for all of the middle
school classes.
Our school is big. We have 4 main buildings,
the first one is for kindergarten, the second one
is for fifth, sixth, and fourth grades. The third
one is for first, second, and third grades. There
is also a building for the teachers’ room and for
the office.
Do you play any sports, or do you play any musical
instruments, and if so which ones? I play
soccer and go rock climbing once a week, but
I don’t play any musical instrument. I practice
soccer once a week and play games on the
weekend. I usually play defense. The name of
my team is the Cheetahs.
I play soccer sometimes at school. I don’t
play any musical instrument either.
What is you favorite thing to do in your free
time? I like to read, because it is relaxing and I
like stories. My favorite books are by Eva Ibbotson.
She writes fiction and most of her books
are fantasy, like, The Secret of Platform 13. But
some of her books are realistic like, Journey to
River Sea.
I like to play on the computer or on the iPad
and sometimes I play with my toys.
Can you describe your home to me? I live in a
purple and blue two-story house. Downstairs in
the front is the living room and the dining room.
Then there is the kitchen and the art room. My
parents have a study, and there is a bathroom
and the hallway. Next to the kitchen are the
stairs to the upstairs. First there is my sister
and my bedroom, then the bathroom and then
my parents’ bedroom. (Our dog sleeps in my
parents’ bedroom.) My garden has a fountain, a
tetherball (which is a game) and a hammock.
I live in a building. My house is not too big. It
has 3 bedrooms and a living room. I sleep in the
same room with my sisters. The boys sleep in
the same room and my parents have their room.
Describe a regular day in your life. First I wake
up in the morning around 7:30. I get ready for
school, and we leave the house around 8:15. We
go to school until 3:00. Then I go back home, do
my homework. After that I do something fun, like
go for a walk, or play jump rope. We have dinner
sometime between 6:45 and 7:00. I go to bed
at 8:30 and read until 9:00.
First I wake up in the morning at 6:30. I get
ready for school. Then I go to school until 2:50.
Then when I come home, I finish my homework.
After that I watch TV, then I play and I go to
sleep at 8:00 or 8:30.
