many snow storms, 1 every 3 years maybe.<br />
What is your favorite thing to do in the snow? I<br />
like to sled or snowboard, because they are both<br />
super fun and snowboarding gives me exercise.<br />
I do these activities with my family in Tahoe, or<br />
Canada (all snowy places).<br />
I like to play snow fights. I can’t ride sleds or<br />
snowboard because when it snows it doesn’t<br />
snow a lot.<br />

What is your name? My name is Ciel McKay.<br />
My name is Rula Saffarini.<br />
Do you have any pets, if so, what kind? What is<br />
your favorite animal? I don’t have any pets, and<br />
my favorite animals are gorillas. I like gorillas<br />
because they are smart and cute. I have seen<br />
them at the San Francisco Zoo.<br />
No, I don’t have any pets, but my favorite animals<br />
are puppies. I hope to own a puppy some<br />
day.<br />
Do you play any sports? Do you play any musical<br />
instruments? Which ones? I play soccer on a<br />
team. The team name is the Cheetahs. We have<br />
a lot of fun. I play goalie. I play the piano. I used<br />
to play the violin, but I like the piano better.<br />
Yes, I play soccer and I play the piano. I go for<br />
piano lessons once a week and I do a lot of practicing<br />
at home.<br />
What kinds of food do you like and why? Can you<br />
share your favorite recipe? I like Mac’n’Cheese,<br />
which is very easy. You make pasta, then you<br />
put cheese in it!<br />
I like deep fried chicken because it’s crunchy<br />
and delicious. My mom uses a deep fryer to fry<br />
the chicken and uses a mix of her special spices<br />
to make it come out crunchy and delicious.<br />
What is your favorite thing to do in the snow?<br />
I like to make snowmen versions of people. I<br />
make a snowperson and then put clothes on it. I<br />
use sticks and stones to make the face.<br />
I like to make snowmen when we have snow,<br />
but it rarely snows where I live.<br />
Do you have any brothers or sisters? What is/<br />
are their name(s) and age(s)? I’m an only child. I<br />
am 11 years old. The disadvantage is that I don’t<br />
have somebody to play with, but the advantage<br />
is I get more attention.<br />
I have an older sister. Her name is Lama and<br />
she will turn 14 this coming <strong>June</strong>. I am 11 years<br />
old.<br />
What do you like to do in your free time? I like to<br />
draw, play sports, write stories, and sing with my<br />
buddies. I am in a choir and at Christmas I sang<br />
a song with a friend in front of the whole school.<br />
I like to play games on the Internet, sing<br />
songs, practice the piano, and watch TV. I use<br />
my iPad to make videos of myself singing and<br />
playing the piano.<br />
What grade are you in? How many students are<br />
in your class? I’m in 5th grade, and there are 34<br />
kids in our grade! But there are 17 kids in my<br />
class. My teacher’s name is Alex; he has a new<br />
baby who came on a camping trip with us.<br />
I’m in 6th grade and there are 30 students in<br />
my class.<br />
What would you like to do when you grow up and<br />
why? I want to be a zoo worker, so I can work<br />
with gorillas in a zoo.<br />
My dream is to be a pop star like Selena<br />
Gomez because she is my idol and I love her<br />
songs very much.<br />
What holidays do you celebrate? Which is your<br />
favorite? I celebrate Christmas and Halloween.<br />
My birthday is on Halloween so my birthday party<br />
