always working on our house. Right now we’re
making a new door for my bedroom.
Do you have any pets? If so what kind? How old
and what is their name and age and gender, and
if so what breed? I have a dog named Josie. Her
breed is a corgi German Shepherd. I got her a
little bit more than a year ago at an animal shelter
called Milo. She is super cute and sweet. I
used to have two cats—one was named Smoky,
the other one Pirate. Smoky died of old age. She
was 22 in people years and Pirate died of cancer
last year. I also have a fish named Sarah who is
still alive and cute.
I have no pets. I wish I had a dog. I’d like a
Chihuahua because it is small and cute. I like to
play with animals.
What would you like to be when you grow up? I
would like to be a professional dancer or actress.
I would also like to make my own cat and dog
foundation or be a marine animal trainer at
Marine World or Seaworld.
I would like to be a doctor. I would be the
doctor that gets the babies. I want to be this
because I like babies. Maybe I will go to London
to study to be a doctor.
What’s your favorite kind of weather, and why? I
like a rainy day, because it makes me feel cozy
and warm. I just want to be in my pajamas and
sip hot cocoa by the fireplace.
Rain is my favorite weather. I like it because
it comes in the winter and my birthday is in
winter.

What is your name? Are you a boy or a girl? My
name is Leila. I am a girl.

How old are you, and when is your birthday? How
do you celebrate your birthday? What gifts would
you like to receive? I’m 9 and a half. My birthday
is June 15, and I am going to go swimming for
my party. I hope I get a gift certificate to a bookstore.
A gift certificate is money on a card to a
certain store.
I’m nine and a half. My birthday is June 18.
For the last two years I celebrated at a swimming
pool. I invited my friends and we had
chocolate cake. For my birthday this year I’d like
to receive English books to read. I like reading
books like the Boxcar Children series. I like these
books because the kids solve mysteries. I like
mysteries.
Do you have any siblings? What are their names
and ages? I have a brother who is 12 and his
name is Logan. My brother is kind and fun to play
with when he’s not grumpy. We like to play with
our swords.
I have a brother. He is 12 years old and his
name is Yazan. Yazan likes to wrestle with me.
I also have a sister. Her name is Razan and she
is 7 years old. Razan likes to help my mother
make food.

What is your favorite animal? I have three cats
and my favorite animal is a cat. The oldest, who
is 6, is a blue tailed tabby, and her name is Kiwi.
Another is Luna and she is calico, and 1 year-old.
Jaco is an orange tabby and the same age as
Luna.
