12.4.3.5.2 Binary Protocol Version 2<br />

This command never sends version 2 binary frames.<br />

12.4.3.6 High speed select<br />

This command selects a card in the antenna field (according to the selection criteria)<br />

or prepares a multiselect command, switches to high baud rates and enables 256-<br />

byte frames. If execution is successful, the command returns the UID of the selected<br />

card and the used baud rate. The reader automatically detects the maximum frame<br />

size of the card. The reader also tries to communicate to the transponder with the<br />

specified baud rate. If no communication is possible, the reader will automatically<br />

decrease the speed to the next lower value.<br />

This command can also force the reader to the communication speed and frame size<br />

of the tag to the specified values. This is only needed if the high speed select is done<br />

manually with the transfer command.<br />
