Operating instructions
Before starting the functional test, the hand probe must be switched
on for approx. 5 min. at a minimum and run in "clean" surrounding air
(minimal or no background concentration of the gas types that are
specific to the special type). These conditions are required for calculation
of the zero point. If no zero point can be set, the functional test
is stopped. The device must then be restarted and the functional test
must be repeated after waiting 5 min.
Continuous contact during the functional test must be ensured between
the Teflon tip of the hand probe with the head of the test leakage.
Only manufacturer-approved reference leaks can be used for the
functional test.
The functional test must be carried out in enclosed spaces with minimal
air movement.
