Although this course is not OP eligible it is possible to<br />
study Media as a sixth subject and still achieve an OP. It<br />
will appeal to those students who wish to pursue studies<br />
or future employment in digital arts and multimedia<br />
practices. This is a stand-alone Vocational Education and<br />
Training (VET) course using competency-based<br />
assessment only. <strong>St</strong>udents completing this certificate<br />
course will receive a VET Certificate rather than a level of<br />
achievement for this subject. The course is designed to<br />
prepare students for entry into the work place as an<br />
Interactive Media Author Assistant. Creative Industries<br />
is a growing area of study based on an industry emerging<br />
from the synthesis of cross-disciplinary media.<br />
The Certificate III in Media focuses on digital screenbased<br />
technologies. The course is run as an Event<br />
Management business in a simulated work environment,<br />
giving students experience of teamwork situations and<br />
