Course outline<br />
Four physical activities will be studied over two years. Equal<br />
time and emphasis are given to each activity. The four<br />
activities studied by the cohort are selected through student<br />
and teacher consultation and may include:<br />

Physical Education is concerned with the study of<br />
the performance of physical activity. It focuses on<br />
the importance of physical activity in the life of<br />
individuals and on the significant role it plays in<br />
modern society and involves the study of the<br />
science underpinning sport performance.<br />
Intelligent performance of physical activity<br />
involves both rational and creative cognitive<br />
functioning. <strong>St</strong>udents are involved in physical<br />
activity environments as participants, analysts and<br />
critics.<br />
