Senior education profile<br />

Senior Education Profile (SEP)<br />

<strong>St</strong>udents in Queensland are issued with a Senior Education<br />

Profile upon completion of Year 12. Included in this profile<br />

could be:<br />

✦ Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)<br />

✦ Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) for eligible<br />

students<br />

✦ Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement (QCIA)<br />

✦ Senior Education Profile (SEP)<br />

A <strong>St</strong>atement of Results is a transcript of the learning account<br />

for students not enrolled at a school. It shows all studies and<br />

the results achieved that may contribute to the award of a<br />

QCE.<br />

The Tertiary Entrance <strong>St</strong>atement shows the eligible student's<br />

Overall Position (OP) and Field Positions (FPs). Rankings are<br />

used to determine eligibility for admission for tertiary<br />

courses.<br />

Note:<br />

If a student has a Senior Education Profile (SEP), then they<br />

have satisfied the completion requirements for Year 12 in<br />

Queensland.<br />

If a student has a Tertiary Entrance <strong>St</strong>atement, then they are<br />

eligible to apply to study at any university or tertiary provider<br />

in Australia or overseas.<br />
