Hospitality Studies promotes a critical awareness
of the social, cultural, economic and
environmental factors that affect the hospitality
industry by focusing on hospitality management
practices. Hospitality Studies fosters the
hospitality industry by developing operational,
management and transferrable hospitality skills.
It introduces students to hospitality sectors and
environments, issues, management practices and
skills as they engage in operational and theoretical
hospitality frameworks. Students create,
implement and reflect on hospitality events to
become familiar with industry practice.
