maximum range (time fuze), 6,120 yards.<br />

Dopp. Z. 08. Aclockwork fuze. The housing is of aluminium.<br />

It did not prove a success <strong>and</strong> has <strong>on</strong>ly been found <strong>on</strong> flares<br />

dropped fromaircraft. Itwas intended for use with shrapnel fired<br />

from high velocity guns. This fuze is illustrated <strong>on</strong> page 141.<br />
