figures are 2 <strong>and</strong> 20) inhalf -sec<strong>on</strong>ds. When set to the 20 <strong>on</strong> the<br />

lowest ring,an additi<strong>on</strong>al 20 half-sec<strong>on</strong>ds is added to the time<br />

indicated by the upper scale.<br />
